Makes 2 large pizzas
2 cups lukewarm water
2 tsp sugar
2 Tbsp Yeast
Combine and let rise for 10 minutes. Add:
1 tsp salt
¼ cup oil
¼ cup sugar
4 to 5 cups Whole wheat flour or white flour
Mix together for 5-7 minutes. If using whole wheat, put the dough in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let it rise one to two times. Roll the dough into pizza shape and place on a greased pan. Spread with spaghetti sauce, mozzarella cheese and favorite toppings. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
Tips for making great pizza: Cook the mushrooms, green peppers and onions before placing them on an uncooked pizza crust to prevent extra moisture from accumulating while cooking and prevent the crust from becoming soggy.
